Do not begin with an oversized goal. Ten minutes at a fixed time is better than a long session that never repeats. Connect reading to an existing habit, such as after a prayer or before sleep.
Keep the book visible and move your phone away for a few minutes. The less friction you create, the easier it becomes to start.
Write down one useful idea after each session and do not turn reading into a page-count competition. Understanding and benefit remain the real goals.
Review your progress each week and return without guilt after an interruption. Habits are built through repeated return, not perfection.
